Gary’s “Tiny House of the Week” March 2023 – with video

Though I’ve never been to New Zealand, there seem to be a lot of really innovative things coming out of the country including the Lord of the Rings movies and now the “Whale” from Raglan Tiny Homes.

The single-story tiny home (Whale) design is the ultimate layout for long-term living. This home feels expansive once you’re inside, with the high ceiling, french doors (in both the living and bedroom) as well as large opening windows in all rooms.

The open-plan kitchen and living space provides the ultimate space to entertain guests with the option to add on the purpose-built deck module to allow the entertaining to flow outside too!

The optional Covered Deck Module is designed to be transportable on wheels with the option to fix it to the land to be seen as an asset.

The bathroom down the hallway has a shower, vanity, and composting toilet. The high-opening window allows natural light and extra ventilation.

This home is a turn-key package ready to live in! It also has Peg’s stamp of approval of “I love this house”

Raglan takes pride in their home’s finishing touches and you won’t find any cheap cookie-cutter products here, everything they do is crafted with care by Raglan craftsmen.

Check out the “Whale” video below!
