Modcoach’s Scandinavian-Inspired “Prefab Home of the Week” 9-13-22

Glamping, a term that combines the best of staying in a hotel with the sense of staying at a campsite, gets a new interpretation with this week’s Modcoach prefab pick. It’s where stunning nature meets modern luxury.

Nokken Cabins is only in Europe at the moment but approvals are being sought to bring them to the US with prices at the moment starting at $79,000.

These modular hotel cabins feature everything you would expect from the best hotels but takes that a bit further with new designs for their modules starting with European Larch exterior cladding boards, Ecowool between studs, and CRT panels on the interior. CRT panels are used for the roof with a waterproof membrane heated Larch planks on the floor.

Nokken Cabins don’t just supply hotel cabins, they offer their experience in hospitality by providing management services, marketing and bringing in strategic partners to ease the pain of start-up.

The retreat hospitality market is expected to grow by 17.5% over the next 5 years and Nokken Cabins is hoping to own a nice share of that market.
