Offsite Building Industries Have the NAHB Building Systems Council

What is the BSC you ask? It’s a great group of people representing all phases of Offsite Construction.

The Building Systems Council (BSC) of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) is the voice of the systems-built housing industry. It is dedicated to promoting the benefits of systems-built construction to consumers and builders. The BSC comprises six different councils, which represent manufacturers, builders, and suppliers of the log, timber frame, modular, panelized, and concrete homes.

The BSC comprises these councils:

Associate Members Building Council is open to all Modular, Panelized, Prefabricated, Component manufacturers, Material suppliers, Service providers, Government agencies, and Educational institutions.

Concrete Home Building Coalition is a trade association that represents the interests of the concrete home building industry.

Log and Timber Homes Council provides education and resources to builders and consumers about the benefits of log and timber homes plus research and development

Modular Home Building Council offers education and resources to builders and management of modular factories, conducts market research and analysis, and also offers networking experiences.

Panelized Home Building Council‘s main mission is to provide education and resources to builders and developers about the benefits of panelized construction. The BSC’s big annual events include its Annual Conference and the BSC Lounge at the International Builders Show.
