For nearly 15 years, the modular and offsite construction industry has had one preeminent voice – Gary Fleisher, the Mod Coach. For those of us in the industry, Gary has been our unwavering voice of reason, keeping us abreast of what’s happening around us, prodding us to move faster to reach our potential, exposing the dangers (and the dangerous), and chiding us when we seem to lose our way. Gary has done more than any single company or association to unite manufacturers, builders, and suppliers into one cohesive group.
So, it is with great joy and appreciation that I join in welcoming Gary to the Modularhomes.com team and to the new home of his blog, where he’ll be posting twice each week.
What changes can you expect from Gary’s posts now that he’s part of the Modularhomes.com family? None. Zero. Nada. (I mean, have you ever known Gary to write anything other than what he truly feels needs to be said?) You’ll still find the deep insights, cutting rhetoric, and no-holds-barred commentary that he has always delivered and that make his posts a must-read for everyone associated with offsite construction. And we wouldn’t want it any other way.
Personally, I’ve hoped the time would come when I’d have the opportunity to work with my friend, Gary. Now that that time has come, I couldn’t be more thrilled!
